Happy

‎I just read this quote that someone else posted, thought it is Great!!
“When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy.’ They told me I didn’t understand the assignment. I told them they didn’t understand life.”

politics

While I enjoy some political banter about moral values and how to tackle them in America, there are some things that really bug me about some discussions that people bring up.

1) if you like the way the politics are sooo much in the country that you came from – WHY did you move to the US? Some of these folks are great people that I know, some not so well, but it seems they want to make the US political system and government like the one they came from – so I honestly don’t get it….

2) Does it really have to be Right vs. Left

As long as the political powers that be keep the American people pointing the finger as to who is right, then win. It is not until we stop pointing the finger at each other and start pointing the finger at D.C. that we will win.
Billions a month are being spent on bail-outs and we debate more about which side got us there & under who’s administration than how to move forward.

I feel that until we get corporate dollars out of D.C. and the politicians find out they can no longer buy votes, that they have nothing to fear from the American public – after all, they have a their own Healthcare, their own retirement – who wouldn’t want to join that club??!!

Fear mongering 101: this is a main tactic for both parties (Hmm, parties – yup, they are the one with the parties & the American tax-payers paying the TAB!) this keeps you in the camp you are in b/c look at how awful and mean those people over there are…..

Poor or Broke

Some folks think that Poor and Broke are the same thing.

But there is a difference, and the difference is Huge! The reason that the difference is so big is that it is a difference in mindset. There are many wealthy people that have been broke, but they were never poor.

The reason that wealthy people can be broke, and not poor is that because poor is a mindset – broke just means that you don’t have any money at the time. Broke people maybe broke, but they are working on their position in life.

Poor people are poor and usually apathetic about their situation. They have poor habits and poor patterns that they may never break.

Don’t be poor, you may be broke, but if you learn about finances, educate yourself and keep trying to improve your situation, you will not be poor. They say 9 out of 10 business fail. But once you get that 1 that works, there is no looking back!

United States Debt. clock

Here are disturbing figures. Once you look around some, then to the left hand side for information on debt to GDP per state – be sure to click the ‘per citizen’ (of that state) also.

Next look to the right hand side for ‘World Debt’ and check out each country. Check the external button also. I noticed how low China was on this one, but especially how low they were for external debt.

Here is a link to the US National Debt clock.

And here is a cool video…..
